of Moses Israel< no role >

Moses Alexander< no role > of Pancrass Lane London Warehouse man maketh oath That at the
last Sessions of the Peace Oyer and Terminer and General Goal Delivery holden for the City of London
at Justices Hall in the Old Bailey a Bill of Indictment was prefered against this Deponent consisting
of four counts For forging and attering or causing to beforged and attered a bill of exchange purporting
to be dated Leeds 27th. Janry. 1768 and to have been drawn by one Richard Aked< no role > upon one Hortham [..]
aked payable seventy five days after date to one John Brown< no role > or order for one hundred and thirty.
five pounds and thirteen shillings and accepted by Nathaniel Aked< no role > and indorsed John Brown< no role >
with intent to defrand Moses Israel< no role > . For publishing as tone the said bill of exchange well
knowing it to be forged with intent to defrand the said Moses Israel< no role > ; For forging and uttering
or causing to be forged and uttered the said bill of exchange with intent toldefrand the said
Richard Aked< no role > : And for publishing as true the said bill of exchange well knwoing it to be forged
with intens to defrand the said Richard Aked< no role > , which bill the Grand Imy formd. And this Depont.
saith he actually received the said bill of exchange in the course of his Orade in part payment and
satisfaction of sum of money due to him and saith that Nathaniel Aked< no role > brother of Richard
Aked can proce this Deponents having so received the said bill of exchange in the course of his trader
in part payment of the said sum of money and can prove the whole transaction respecting the
said bill, this Deponent therefore saith the said Nathaniel Asked is this Deponents principal
witness And saith the said Nathaniel attend to give his evidence on the behalf of this Deponent on
the trial fo the said Indictment without hararding and endomgering his liss as this Deponent
has been informed and verily believes, and this Deponent saith he cannot safely take his
trial on the said Indictment without the testimony of the said Nathaniel Aked< no role > .
