maketh Oath and saith that he this Deponent having
detected the said Thomas Dixey< no role >
in picking this Deponents
pocket and entred into a Recognizance to prosecute him [..]
the same at the last April Sessions of Goal Delivery at
Newgate for the City of London, was during the time of the
said Sessions and for some time before and after confined to his
Chamber by Illness which rendered this Deponent unable to go
abroad or attend at the said Sessions And this Deponent saith
that his said Illness was the Sole and only.. Cause of his
not attending at the said Sessions to proscute the said Thomas
Dixey and not any intent or Inclination in this Deponent
to favour the said Thomas Dixey< no role >
