To the Right Honourable The Lord Mayor of the City of London and
the Rest of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said City in the General Session of the
Peace for the said City Assembled

Whereas Miles Barne< no role > Esquire thinking it necessary and intending to pull down
the Partition or Party Wall between a certain house belonging to George Stonehouse< no role >
Esquire as the Owner thereof in the Occupation of Richard Barwell< no role > Esquire and
a certain house adjoining belonging to the said Miles Barne< no role > as the Owner thereof
in the Occupation of John Johnson< no role > both situate in Bredd street London in Order to
Build a New Party Wall in the Stead thereof did give Notice in writing to the said
Richard Barwell< no role > of such Intention pursuant to the Statute in that behalf [..]
[..] And whereas the said Miles Barne< no role >
hath named to Thomas Steedman< no role > of London Carpenter and Ambrose Cantwell< no role > of
London Bricklayer and the said Richard Barwell< no role > hath according to the said Notice
named us James Wawen< no role > of London Carpenter and Benjamin Simons< no role > of London
Bricklayer being four able Workmen to View the said Partition or Party Wall
intended to be pulled down as aforesaid pursuant to the Statute in such Case made
and provided Now we the said Thomas Steedman< no role > Ambrose Cantwell< no role > & James
Wawen
< no role > and Benjamin Simons< no role > being fourable Workmen names as aforesaid
Do hereby Certify that we did on the day of the date hereof accordingly View the said
Partition or Party Wall so intended to be pulled down as aforesaid and that the same
is defective and ruinous and ought to be pulled down As Witness our hands this
Twenty fourth day of January One thousand seven hundred and Sixty five
