Poor of the Parish of Saint Olave in Silver Street
London, and the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Mary at Marlborough
in the County of Wilts
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint bath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Olave
London, That Hannah Johnson< no role > Wife of John Johnson< no role >
who is gone from her and their four Children that is to says James< no role >
aged Eight Years John< no role > aged Seven Years, Christopher aged< no role > four Years
and Ann< no role > aged Two Years are
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Hannah Johnson< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said John Johnson< no role > , Hannah< no role > his Wife and
their said four Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint Mary at Marlborough and that
thitherto the said Hannah Johnson< no role > and her said four Children
and that thithertoought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Olave
London, forthwith to remove and conveythe said or Cause to be
remov'd and convey'd the said Hannah Johnson< no role > and her said four Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Mary at Marlborough
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 18th Day of February One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Sixty four .
