The Information of Mr. Edmund of
Howard< no role > of the Inner Temple taken
before me this 8th. day of Novr, 1764

Who being upon Oath Says that about three Months agoe he was
Possed of a Promissor Note of John Bland< no role > Junr. Benjamin in Barnett< no role >
and John Bland< no role > for the Sum of £100 dated Octr. 1762, and
about that time he lost his Pocket Book containing said Note
and other Papers and at which time the said Note had no
Indorsement upon it, says that [..] a Promisson Note now
Produced is the same Identical Note which he last as aforesaid
and is in the same State except having the Name Joseph Taylor< no role >
Indersed on the back thereof which Indorsement he believes
to be false Forged and Counterfeited and done with an
Intention to Defrand
