This Information upon his Oath saith that
between the House of ten and Eleven of Monday Morning last a Linnen
Handkerchief was pick'd out of his Pocked about the Middll of London
Bridge
in the City of London
That soon after a Person came up to
him and ask'd him if he had not lost Something out of his Pocket
which this Deponent then examined and found was his Handkerchief
and soon after meeting the Prisoner Henry Genman< no role >
this Deponent
was informed by the said Person that he was the Felon, upo
Which this Deponent immediately seized hold of him and upon
searching the said Henry German< no role >
found the said Linnen Handkerchief
with several other Handkerchiefs and that he verily believes that
the said Henry German stole the same
