The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. Mary White Chapel
within the County
of Middlesex
Sheweth
That by a Pass Warrant or Order of Removal under the Hands and
Seals of two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said City and
Liberty's
thereof (whereof one is of the Quorum) bearing date the twenty
fifth Day of November One thousand seven Hundred and Sixty one

Service and whose Settlement (as in the said Order of Removal or
Pass Warrant is pretended and Alledged) could not be found, and their
three Children

aged One Year, were Removed from the Parish of St. Botolph
Bishopgate
in the said City of London
to the Parish of St. Mary White
Chapel
aforesaid as the Place of the last Legal Settlement of the said

and the said Children
That your Petitinrs. Apprehending themselves to be Aggrieved by
the aforesaid Pass Warrant or Order of the said two Justices Do Appeal to
this Court against the Same of which your Petrs. have Caused due
Notice to be given
Your Petrs. and Appellts. therefore humbly pray this Court will
be pleased at this present Session to proceed to the hearing and
Determination of the said Appeal And that their said Appeal may
be Allowed And that they may have such Relief in the Premisses
as to this Court shall seem agreeable to Justice and Equity
