To the Right Honourable Sir Richard Glyn< no role > Knight Lord Mayor of the
City of London and to the Rest of his Majestys Justices of the peace for
the said City of London in their General Quarter Session of the peace
assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Luke in the
County of Middlesex

Sheweth.

That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the hands and Seals
of your Lorship and Francis Cokayne< no role > Esquire two of his Majestys
Justices of the peace for the City of London aforesaid (one whereof being
of the Quorum) bearing Date the twenty Second day of December one
thousand seven hundred and fifty Eight Elizabeth Burnell< no role > widow
of Thomas Burnell< no role > deceased was removed from the Parish of Saint
Mary in Aldermanbury London unto the said Parish of Saint Luke
alledging the said Parish of Saint Luke to be her last legal Settlement

That your Petitioners Conceive themselves
agrieved by the said Order or Pass Warrant and
therefore humbly appeal against the same

And your Petitiners shall ever pray Etc
