Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Mary Magdalen in Hol Fishstreet

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Giles
London, That Sarah Hubbard< no role > wife of William Hubbard< no role >
who is a Sailor in his Majesty's Service and their
three Children Sarah< no role > aged five years William< no role > aged three
years and Elizabeth< no role > aged about Two Years are
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of Edward Thornton< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and We do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said William Hubbard< no role > Sarah< no role > his Wife and
their said three Children
to be in the said Parish of Saint Mary Magdalen and that thitherto
the said Sarah Hubbard< no role > and her said there Children
and that thithertoought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Giles
London, forthwith to remove and Convey the said Sarah Hubbard< no role >
and her said three Children
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Mary Magdalen
And them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 12th Day of January One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Fifty Eight .
