The Information of William Richardson< no role > taken before
me the 17th. day of March 1756

This Informant on his Oath saith that about Six Weeks ago
this Informant together with George Barker< no role > and William Wells< no role >
agreed to go a Thieving any thing they could light of, that
about Six o' Clock in the Evening Walls went into a Shop in
Star Alley in Fenchurch Street to buy Worsted when he stoll
about Twenty Yards of Chequed Linen and Two linen
Handkerchiefs white this Informant and Barker staid in the
Street to wait for the said Wells who brought out the Linen
and Handkerchiefs which he had Stole as aforesaid, they then
went to the three Tun Alehouse near Aldgate where a Jew
under took to sell the Chequed Linen and in a Short time brought
them Ten Shillings which was divided between them, that the
Two Handkerchiefs they sold to Abraham a Jew then living in
Hounds ditch for Eighteen pence And this Informant on
his Oath further saith that the said George Backer< no role > and this
Informant about five Weeks ago went into Red Lyon Street
Holborn about Seven o'Clock in the Morning when Barker
unbolted the Hatch of a Linen drapers Shop and this Informant
went in and stole about Sixteen Yards of Holland (there
being no body in the Shop) which they carry'd directly to the
said Jew who gave them Ten Shillings and Six pence for it
That about a Month ago the said George Barker< no role > and this
Informant stole Six pair of Worsted Stockings out of a Shop
in Smock alley which they sold to the said Jew for Nine Shillings
