Constables
in the City of London , and also to
all Constables, and other Officers of
the Peace whom it may concern, to
receive and convey. And to the
Church-wardens, Chapel-wardens,
or Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Edmonds Bury
in the C ounty of Suffolk
or either of them, to receive and obey.

WHEREAS Elizabeth Armstrong< no role > was
apprehended in the parish of Saint Michael Cornhill
in the City of London
as a Rogue and Vagabond Wandering and begging
and upon Examination of the said Elizabeth Armstrong< no role >
taken before me upon Oath (which Examination is hereunto an-
nexed) it doth appear, that the last legal Settlement of the said
Elizabeth Armstrong< no role > is in the said Parish of
Saint Edmonds Bury in the said County of Suffolk
and that thitherto she ought to be sent

These are therefore to require you the said John Box< no role >
to convey the said Elizabeth Armstrong< no role >
to the Parish of Saint Mary Matfellon in the
County of Middlesex
that being the first Parish in the next Precinct, thro' which'
She ought to pass, in the direct Way to the said Parish
of St. Edmonds Bury to which She ought to be sent,
and to deliver her to the Constable or other Officer of such
first Parish in such next Precinct, together with this Pass and
Duplicate hereto annexed, taking his Receipt for the same. Who
is to be thence conveyed on in like Manner to the said Parish
of Saint Edmonds Bury there to be delivered to some Church-
warden, Chapel-warden, or Overseer of the Poor, who are hereby
required to receive her and provide for her
according to Law. Given under my Hand and Seal this 17th
Day of February in the Year or our Lord 175 5
