The humble Petition and Appeal of the Overseers of the
Poor of the Liberty of the Rolls in the County of
Middlesex

Sheweth

That by virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the Hands
and Seals of the Right Honble. Steph. Theod: Janssen< no role > and Wm. Alexander< no role > Esqrs . two of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the Cityof London
bearing Date the 28th. day of August 1755 Thomas Bartly< no role > was
removed from the Parish of St. Brides London to the Liberty of the
Rolls in the County of Middlesex as the Place of his last legal
Settlement whereby your Petitioners think themselves aggrieved and
against the said Order do appeal
