The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary Somerset
in the said City of London
Sheweth
That by an Order of Removeall made the Sixth day of June 1755 by Your
Lordship and

Esquire
(two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace
for the said City)
Elizabeth White< no role >
Wife

John White< no role >
and their Child
James< no role >
aged four Months were removed from the Parish of Saint Margaret
Lothbury London
into the said Parish of Saint Mary Somerset
That the said Elizabeth White< no role >
and James White< no role >
ought not to have
been removed to the said Parish of Saint Mary Somerset for That the said
John White< no role >
is intuled to no Settlement there
Wherefore your Petitioners do appeal against
the said Order of Removeall And humbly pray
the said Order may be reversed with Costs
And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc.
