Abraham Sandy< no role > the Younger of Newbury in the County of Berks
Yeoman And William Twycross< no role > of the Same Place Soap boyler Jointly
and Severally make Oath and Say And first this Deponent Abraham
Sandy for himself Saith that he this Deponent being Server with a
Subpeena to attend this Honourable Court the last Sessions of General
Goal Delivery of Newgate , to give Evidence against the Defendant, And
this Deponent in Obedience to the Said Subpeena did accordingly Attend
three Days of the Said Sessions And upon neither of the Said Prosecutors
appearing at the said Sessions the Said Defendants Tryall was putt off
tilt this present Sessions of Goal Delivery of Newgate aforesaid. And this
Deponent further Saith that about four or five Days age he this Deponent
was served with the Futnell of Subpeena hereunto annext , but at the same
time this Deponent was bound in the Sum of Forty pounds Recognizance for his
personal appearance and was obliged to attend the General Quarter
Sessins of the Peace at Reading in and for the Said County of Bertis
to prosecute two Fellows there, who robbed this Deponents Waggon of
Severall Valuable Effects, and was not discharged from Court untill
about Eleven o'Clock last Night, And about two of the Clock this Morning
this Deponent Sett out from reading aforesaid which is about Forty three Miles
from London , and arrived at this Honourable Court about Twelve o'Clock
this Day to give Evidence in the above Cause at aforesaid And the other
Deponent William Twycross for himself Saith, That what the Deponent
Abraham Sandy< no role > has herein Deposed is true, he this Deponent being privy
present, and well acquainted with all the particulars above Deposed
by the Deponent Abraham Sandy< no role > , and that the Same are in every
particular true
