Mary Mc. Cure< no role > Daughter of Thos. Mc. Cure< no role > Maketh Oath & saith that on the Sunday
following after the fray she saw her Uncle & heard him complain of Blows he had
receivedfromon his Breast & his Sides from one Anthony Meadows< no role > ; Says
that she attended him in the Hospital & heard him say the Day before he came
from the Hospital that the Rogue Anthony Meadows< no role > had given him his
Death, and that she saw him the next day Afterwards and sd. then that he
was near his Death, Says that she was with him just before his Death, And
saw him Clap his hands upon his Beast & heard him say that Anthony
Meadows had given him his Death; further says that he was then in
his perfect Senses

Mathew Mc. Cure Maketh Oath & Sayth that on the 21st: of Septr. abt. 8 or 9 in the
Evening Sitting on Mr. Noys's Bulk the Deceds Wife came up to him and Asked
him what made him call out after his Nurle But he sd. he did not, Says then he
crossd the way & then perceived him Uncle to be a little fractions, and present [..]
after saw his Uncle & Anthony Meadows< no role > both down together Says then he run
a Cross the way to them & then Anthony got up and laid hold of Mc. Cures Collar
& bid him get up, But he not geting up Anthony gave him a Blow under his
Throat, And then he this Depont. went to call his father and coming back met
Anthony & asked him how he could boat Mc. Cureso, for ther would be a Warrant
out against him to morrow, the sd. he that cant be for I took care to strike him
that he could shew no Marks, then this Depont. told him that he was an Old
Man & he should not do so, But he made Answer that was it to do again he
would do it then saw no more that time, Says abt. 10 att. the same Evening
as he was going to Bed he heard some Blows in the yard & saw Anthony have
Mc. Cure by the Collar & strikeing him in the Belly; Says then this Deponts.
father came up & parted them, Says at the same time Thos. Meadows< no role > father of
the sd. Anthony had hold of Mc. Cures Wife by her Arms, further says that he saw
his Uncle the next Morning & heard him Complain of some Blows he had reced
in his Belly; Says before that he was a very healthy Man, And that he saw him
the Evening before he dyed & heard Mrs. Sturt ask him how he did to which he
Answeared very bad & saw him lay his hands on his Belly & heard him very
here is my Aylment from the Blows he had reced from the Rogue
