Elizabeth< no role > the Wife of Jonathan Sturt< no role > of Rose Mary Lane Maketh Oath & Saith that
she saw the Deced Mathew Mc. Cure< no role > the Saturday after the pay, in a Coach with Meadows
come to the 7 Stars, and then heard him say that he had reced sevll Blows from
Anthony Meadows< no role > , Says that the sd. Mc. Cure was very well the Night the pay happend
And that she saw him the Evening before hedged & then heard him Complain of
his Belly

Constantine Kittson< no role > Maketh Oath & Saith that she saw Thos. Meadows< no role > the Father
come up Vapouring & drank & opend his Door & called out Anthony, and said I have
a Lad about 9 Years old that shall beat him, Says upon that his Son Anthony< no role >
came out and saw him hit the Deced a blow on his head upon which he fell
down, Says upon that she this Depont. went upto him & sd. for Gods Sake dont
Kill the Man, And then the sd. Anthony went away in doors, And the Deced lag-
till 1 or 2 o Clock and Ground very much, And then this Depont. had him into
he house and had something fee him, Saw that she went to his Lodgings
the Night he dyed & saw him clap his hands on his Breast, And then heard
him say that the Rogue has Killd me, & then she fell his Bolly and said Lord
how hard ye. Belly is; further says that she belives they were all in Liquor

Thos. Mc. Cure< no role > Brother of the Deced Maketh Oath & Saith but the 21st: of Septr. abt. 10 at
Night he came by & saw Anthony Meadows< no role > paying of his Brother with his fist
& then parted them & turnd Meadows towards his own house other he this Depont.
went home himself, Says the next day he saw his Brother & heard him say that
he thought he was Murdered by Anthony Meadows< no role > , Says that his Brother was
a hall Man before that time, and never had any Distemper whatever upon him
Says that on the Saturday following his Brother & Meadows came together in a
Coach & Meadows would have got him into the London Infirmary, Says that he was
an out patient & had Medicines given him, Says that he was with his Brother
when he dyed, And sd. to him Brother, as you are a dying Man tell the truth,
to which he made Answer ay, ay, Tommy, And then heard him say that the Blows
Ireced is the Cause of my Death, & Irecod them from Anthony Meadows< no role >
