THE Examination of Catharine Patterson< no role >
committed to the London Workhouse as a

Rogue and Vagabond apprehended by Charles
Hill
< no role > Constable for beg
in the sd City of London
in the said City,and brought
before me one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the said City. Taken this 31
Day of August 17 52 .

Who on her Oath saith, that She is a Singlewoman about
thirty years of age, And about Eight or nine years ago
was a yearly hired Servant to Thomas ware< no role >
a Grocer in the parish of St. Giles Cripplegate
[..] London, and lived there upwards of one
Year at the rate of Four Pounds & ten shillings
a Year Wages

And hath not since obtained any other subsequent Settlement to
this Examinant's Knowledge or Belief.
