The King agt. John Whitehead< no role >
upon an Indictment for Forgery at
the Prosecution of Benjamin Claph< no role >

Benjamin Clapp< no role > of the Parish of St. Olave Hart that London
Gentleman and Prosecutor of this Indictment Maketh Oath and
Saith that John Girling< no role > of St. Olave Hart Street London
Victualler and Thomas Sunderland< no role > of Greenwich Servant Man
are Material Witnesses for him this Deponent on behalf of the
Crown on the Tryal of this Cause And that he this Deponent
hath been this Morning to seek for the said Girling and
Sunderland in Order to Conduct that this Court to give
their Testimony on the Tryal of this Indictment but this
Depont is credibly informed and believe it to be true that
the said Girling is gone to Woolnoth and said
Sunderland is not come from Greenwich and therefore
Cannot be present here this Morning last [..] Deponent
[..] th Saith that without the Testimony of the said
[..] Sunderland he this Depont. cannot
Ground Safely to the Tryal of this Cause
