Warrant under the Hands & Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the City of London
(one being of the Quorum) bearing date the
Twenty fifth Day of February 1745 was sent & Delivered by the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of St. Ann
in Blackfriers
London unto the
Church wardens & Overseers of the poor of the Parish of St. George
the
Martyr in the County of Middx. upon the Oath of the said Martha Moore< no role >
and other Circumstances that the place of her last legal Settlement was
in the said parish of St.George the Martyr
Now upon hearing the
petition and appeal of the Church wardens & Overseers of the poor of
the said Parish of St. George
the Martr agt. the said Warrt. Judgmt.
of the said two Justices in the presence and hearing of the Church
wandens & Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Ann

& having heard what could be Alledged on either side by
the respective Church wardens their Council & Witnnesses in & Concerning
the premisses It is there upon Ordered by this Court that the said
Warrt & Judgment of the said two justices be and the same is
hereby, confirmed and it is further Ordered by this Court that
the Church wardens & overseers of the Poor of the sai Parish
of saint George the Martyr
do maintain& Provide for the
said Martha Moore< no role >
until they can free themselves from
the charge thereof by due Course of Law.
