Linnon Draper maketh Oath and Saith That the above Defendants
on the Eighth day of April last came to this Depts. shop under
Pretence of buying some Linnen But after sometime in
Cheapening a Peece of Lawn they went away without buying
anything This Dept. further saith about half an hourafter one
Mr. Wiseham of the Poultry aforesaid Linnen Draper brought
a peece of Lawn to this Dept. and asked this Dept whether it
belonged to him upon looking at it this Dept. knew it be his
then Mr. Wiseham Informed this Dept. that two Women has Just
drapped it Just now who came into his shop under pretense of
buying some linnen whom he had secured This Dept. Imediately
went to the said Mr Wisehams shop and there the said Mr. Wiseham
showed this Dept. the two Woman that dropp'd this Lawn which
proved to be the above Defts which were Just before Cleapening
some Lawn in this Depts. shop upon which this Dept. took the
above Defts before the Lord Mayorof LondonAnd had then above
Defts Committed for the same This Dept. further saith that the
said Mr. Wiseham hath for some time Past been ill of a Feaver
which illness is lately relapsed And he is now so very ill he cant
possably Attend this Honrble Court without the almost danger
of loosing his wife This Deft. further saith That the said Mr.
Wiseham is the only Certain Evidence (except a Strange Country
Gentleman who was at the that time Accidentally in the said Mr.
