Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
his Majesties Justices of the Peace for this City and the
Liberties thereof (one being of ye Quorum) by You the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St Gregory by
St. Paul in the City ofLondon That Thomas
Howell & Barbara< no role > his Wife & three Children (to Wit)
Elizabeth< no role > aged ten Years, Jeremiah Bright< no role > aged Seven
Years & John< no role > aged one Year three Months are
lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtained any
Legal Settlement there and are likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and for as much as it appears unto Us by the Oath of
the St Thomas Howells< no role > that abt. Seventeen Years ago
he Served Seven Years apprentiship with John
Wilcox
< no role > a Taylor in the Precinct of White
Fryars London
And no other Subsequent Settlement appearing unto Us We the
Said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge that last Legal
Settlement of the said Thomas Howells< no role > Barbara< no role > his
Wife & Children Elizabeth Jeremiah Bright John
to be in the saidparish of Precinct of White Fryars
LondonAnd that thitherto they ought by Law
to be sent

These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Will and
Require You the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of St Gregory by St Paul of
London forthwith to Remove and Convey the said Thos.
Howell Barbara his Wife Eliz: Jeremiah Bright & John
from and out of your said Parish unto the saidparish of
Precinct of White Fryars London
And them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or our of them Who is and are hereby required
to Receive and Provide for them according to Law Given
under our hands and seals this First day of Janry
In the Year of our Lord 1734
