Who on his Voluntarily Oath Saith that about one of the
Clock this Morning John Farley< no role >
and William Harford< no role >
came to this Informants Lodgings in Robin Hoods Court
in Thames Street
London, and called him this Informant
out of Bed in order (as they Informed him) to goe and mead a
Main or pipe that was blown up, whereupon they went
will this Informant into Book sellers Alley near Saint
Pauls Churchyard,
where they pulled up the Pavement, &
then the said Farley & Harford Informed this Informant
what they came about and Intended to do, which was to
Steal a Lead pipe, That Lay in that place under Ground,
and that they did not tell him this Informant their design
at any time on times whatsoever before, and further that
Accordingly the said Farley & Harford together with this
Informant did Cutt off about three or four yards in Length
of the Said Lead pipe Containing about three or four hundred
pound Weight, and that the said Farley & Harford Carried
the Same away, and further this Informant, Saith that
he has been Since Informed and verily beleives the said
Farley & Harford Sold the Said Lead to one Mr. John Wood< no role >
a Black Smiths
on Puddle Dockhill
London for about
Tenn Shillings a hundred, and Lastly this Informant
on his Oath Saith that he has been also Informed Since
and verily beleives that the Said Lead Pipe in the Property
of the Citizens of the City of London
