WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof (Quorum
unus) by You the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of St. Anthony vulgarly St. Antholin
London, That

hath
lately Intruded herself into
your said Parish not having obtained any legal Settlement
there, and Is likely to become Chargeable thereto,
by Reason of Her great poverty
unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of the sd.

as a yearly hired by
Servant
by the Space of One Year & a half at the yearly wages of

not obtain any subsequent Settlement. We the said
Justices are therefore of Opinon, and do adjudge the
last legal Settlement of the said
