Brandyman and Ann Rawlnison< no role > of Old Fish Street London Widow
Severally make Oath And first this Dept. Cleeter sayth That
at the last Sessions of Oyer & Terminer hold for the City of
London at Justice hall in the old Bayly on Thursday the twenty
fifth day of MayHe this Dept. did enter with two Sufficient
Bail into & Regonizance to Prosecute his Traverse with effect
on the said Indt. at this prsent Sessions of Oyer and Terminer
And this Dept. farther Sayth that one George Rawlison< no role > Son
of the other Dept. Ann Rawlinson< no role > is a Materiall Witness
for this Dept. in this Cause and without whose Evidence this
Dept. cannot proceed Safely to Tryall upon this Indictmt.
And the other Dept. Ann Rawlinson< no role > Sayth that about the
15th. of March 1730 this Depts. said Son George Rawlinson< no role >
Set Sail from the Downs for the East Indies in the Service
of the East india Company as Steward in the Ship Ockam
Comanded by Captain Jobson and Sayth that Since that
time She has received a Letter of his own hand Writting
from Bombay in which he gives her an Account that he is
in good health & intends to return home in the Sameship
which Dept. verily beleives he will in August or September
next when the Ship is expected to return to England And
lastly this Dept. George Cleeter< no role > saith that about Ten day
Since he enquired of one Mr. Crabb Pay master of the East
India Company when the said Ship Ockham was expected to
return to England who informed this Dept. think the East
India Company had lately reced a Letter from the Governors
and Councill of Bombay in which they intimated to the said
East India Company that the said Ship wou'd be in England
this Session And the said Mr. Crabb informed this Dept. yt he
verify believed the said Ship wou'd being England accordingly
in August or September next which this Dept. verily
believes to be true
