The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poors of the Parish of St George Hanover Square
in the County of Middx

Sheweth

That by an Order under the hands & Seals of
Sr William Thomson< no role > Knt and Richard Brocas< no role > Esqr two of His
Majesties Justices of the Peace for the said City (Quor Unus) bearing
date the four the day of August 1731 Elizabeth Glover< no role > Singlewoman
was removed from the Parish of Sr Mildred in Bread Street London
to the said Parish of St George Hanover Square as the place of her
last legall Settlement

Your Petitioners thinking themselves
Agrieved by the Judgment of the said
two Justices of the Peace Appeal to this
Court against the Same & desire to be
releived therein

And Your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
