Rate made by the Churchwardens & Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Alhallows Bark
in London
For the Releif of the poor of the said Parish for
this present Year 1730o. Upon the said Richard
Lechmere John Lateward< no role >
Samuel Davenport< no role >
and
the Rest of the Wharfingers Farmers of the Severall
Keys aforesaid It is ordered by this Court That ye
sd. Peticon and Appeale of the said Wharfingers be
dismissed And the Same is hereby dismissed and
disallowed by the Court Accordingly And Whereas by a new
Rate made by the Churchwardens & Overseers of the
poor of the parish aforesd. Upon them the said
Richard Lechmere< no role >
and the rest of the respective
Wharfingers
aforesaid for & towards the Relief of
the poor of the said parish of Alhallows Barkin
for Six Months to be forthwith Collected and paid
at one Payment And upon hearing the petition and
Appeale of the said Richard Lechmere< no role >
and the rest of
the sd. respective Wharfingers against the sd. Six Months
Rate in the presence of the Churchwardens & Overseers
aforesaid It is hereupon Considered and ordered That
the said Six Months Rate be Quashed The same
Appearing to this Court to be unwarrantable and illegall
And is hereby quashed Accordingly.
