The Examinacon of Joseph Fitch of the City of
London Barber taken this Sixth day of June
Ano Dui 1730 Before me John Newell< no role > Esqr.
Mayor of the said Borough

This Examinant being Suspected to be confederate with the
within named Robert Fenton< no role > in the Felonious taking of
the Moneys within menconed, he Denieth the same
but confesseth & Saith that he lately become acquainted
with the said Robert Fenton< no role > at thesaidCopartners
House within named as Servant or apprentice
to one Thomas Wonham< no role > Barber to the Said Copartners
& the said Fenton onThursdayWednesday the third day of this Instant
June Declared his Intencons to this Exaiant of going
to Holland and invited this Exaiant to go along with
him upon which this Exaiant Said would require [..]
much Moneys to go thereof whereto the said Fenton replyed
that he had Money enough [..] would defray this
Exaiant charges, & thereupon this Exaiant consented
and farther Saith not
