We present as a

[..] Number of Beggars shoe cleaness and other Idle and Wandering
Persons that Daily Frequent and
[..] publick Streets of this City To the great Disturbance
of the Citizens and all other persons,
[..] to and fro through the said streets upon their
lawfull Occasions, The said Beggars and other idle Wanderers interrupting & stopping
such persons for to give them Almes
[..] pretending to sell some Trifleing Things for to Colour
their asking an Almes. and who
[..] Molest the Shopkeepers
and Inhabitants of this
City by standing or lying Continued
[..] their Doors an disturbing them & their Customers
in their Traffick & Business.

young Childeren if not timely presents
[..] become a heavy Charge to the Inhabitants of this
City the said number having of
[..] Increased in this City as We apprehend pay the
Care & Diligence of his Majesties Justices of the Countys lying round about the Town by
