The Informaocn of Ebenezer Pendred< no role >
taken on his Oath before me Sr. George
Merttins

Justices of the Peace for this city Etc the
22d. of Aprill 1724 .

This Ebenezer Pendred on his Oath Saith That on Easter
Eave last in the Night time he this Informant together
with one Robert Draper< no role > formerly a fellow Servant with
him this Informant & by the Persecution of him yr. sd. Draper
broke down a Wall between the Celler of Mr. Leigh a Barber
on St. Dunstans hill (his this Informants Master) and the
Celler of Mrs Sarah Townley< no role > through which Wall they both
entredinto ye sd. Mrs Townley Celler & [..] this Informant
was then lifted up & assaulted by ye sd. Draper this a Coal hole
into a Warehouse belonging to Mr Charles Townley< no role > & this
Informt then opened ye Celler Door & lett ye sd. Draper come
in to ye. Warehouse and that ye sd. Draper took the Stepney
belonging to ye sd. Warehouse & lifted up the Sash Window
of Or sd. Mr. Townley's Compting house [..] entred into the
same whom this [..] Informt. then followed, and the
said Draper (upon as they had entred ye Compting house) breke
open ye Doors of a Cupboard there of took out of a Bagg
four Guineas in Gold and two Guineas more wth. lay upon
a Shelfe together wth. abt. four shillings I six Pence in
Silver, wth. ye sd. Draper putt into his ever Pockett, & then
departed the same way they getting, this Informt. made
up the said Wall, and then [..] ye sd. Draper gave him this
Informant half of ye abovemenconed Sume And
this Informant further saith that in ye Night of ye Saturday
following be together wth. ye sd. Draper entred ye sd. Celler
Warehouse & Company house in manner abovemenconed ye said
Draper then tooke out of ye. sd. Cupboard a Quantity of Silver
out of which he gave this Informant seventeen Shillings
