Oath that he this Deponent did on Tuesday the fourteenth of this
Instant April
leave a Notice in writing at Mr Peters's Chambers
in the Temple who acts as sollicitor for the Deft. with this Clerk
purporting that the Court held at the Sessions at the old Bayly
London would be moved this Day or so soon after as Councill
could be heard to put of the Trial in this Cause this next
Sessions or to that Effect And this Dept. further saith that
he is informed that the above Prosecution is for putting in a
false answer in the Exchequer, & that he yesterday met the
Deft. Chambers who is an Attorny or Sollicitor, & asked him whitter
he would admit a Copy of the answer above menconed to
be Evidence in this Cause or used weies to that or the like
Effect but the said Chambers refused to admit it & this
Dept. cannot get the said answer out of the Court without
leave thereof, which he cannotnow obtain the Court
not setting as he is informed & beleive
