The Informacon of Joshua Court< no role > taken before
Sr Francis Forbes< no role > Knt & Aldran & one of his
Maties Justices of ye peace Etc.

This Informt Saith That on the 26 June last Joseph
Wright
< no role > & Richd Robinson< no role > came to his house at Newington
Green & took of him a Lodging in which they remained
till the 29th. of the same month on which day
(this Informt with his wife being abroad) the said
Wright & Robinson left his lodging & at the Same time
a Silver Cap 3 Silver Spoons 5 gold rings a Silver Watch
3 Sutes of headcloths 3 Silk hoods 4 hankerchiffs & other linnen were
taken away & believes that the sd Wright & Robinson
took away ye sd Goods for that they [..] Sent this Examts
Servant on Several Errands & these took an opportunity
to carry off the sd Goods & once Sudden left their
lodging & never returned and further Says that on
pursuit of the said felons he took the sd Wright
under a tub in a Linnen Draps Celler in Bishopsgate

This Examint Confesseth & Saith That he took the
Lodgings with the other person & at the time menconed
was going away with his partner from whom two
shirts of this Examts was dropt in the open field upon
which the sd Rd Robinson< no role > als Humfry Jones< no role > discovered to this Examt
that he had Stolen the goods above menconed out of
the house where they lodged to which this Examt
was a Stranger but being much affrighted did not
return back and further Says that the reason of
concealing himself under a tub this Examt was
affraid of an Arrest
