Examinanton his Oathfurther confesseth and
Saith That when they came to dover the said
Davis applyed to the the Deputy post Master
at Dover at the Sign of the Ship for a permitt to
goe to France but before all things were gott
ready for their goeing he this Examinant together
with the said George Davis< no role > who then went by
the [..] ofanother name and the said George
Crooke
< no role > who then also went by another name
were seized by order of Mr Charles Lovell< no role > agent
to his Mates Packett boats at Dover and this
Examinant confesseth, that after his being so
Seized as aforesaid the mony that was delivered
him by the said George Davis< no role > was taken from
him being Gold and Silver and an odd half penny
but how much the same amounted to this
Examinant knoweth not neither did the said
Davis ever tell or inform this Examinant
how he came by the said mony and further
saith not
