the Honble.Lady Catherine Jones< no role > . of the Parrish of
Chelsea in the Said County taken ye 17th. day of July

Nicholas Crumpler< no role > of the Parrish of Chelsea Gardner hath
Appeared before Us. (Four of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the
Said County and Deposeth Upon Oath that in the Morning of this
Said 17th day of July 1718 he the said Deponent Walking over the Honble.
Lady Catherine Jones< no role > Gardens of which he has the Care, finding the
Lead which Covered the Green House had been Stole therefrom
And which to the best of his Knowledge was there the Night before
he this Deponent with others Made Search in and about the
Gardens to endeavour to Make a Discovery of the said Robbery
And Upon a Search Made he this Deponent Found a Ladder
And the Lead Rolled up and throwne a place betwixt two
Quicks Hedges, where this Same Day a person. who since
is known by the Name of Esau, Vincent< no role > was Seized And
Apprehended And further this Deponent Saith that.
