for ye sd County this 30th: day of September Anno
Dom 1717

Who Saith that Yesterday being Sunday ye 29th. day
of this Instant September between Ten & Eleven
of ye clock in ye forenoon this Informt. went to Mr.
Brags Meeting house in ye paved Alley in Lime
Street & when she came to ye door ship was Stop
by a person who Stood in it & imediately Surrounded
& Cayd hold on by Severale others who he sd two for
a Small Space and then Att her pass into the
meeting house & Run away upon wch: she Examined
her pockett and found it pickts of Green & Red
silk purse where in was a German Dollar
Value abt: four Shillings & Six pence & about
ten Shillings in Money of wch: she imediately
gave Notice to one Mr John Thorpe< no role > Court face
of ye Tower Liberty who Stood just within ye
door of ye sd. Meeting house who imediately run
to find out ye Offenders & took one of them who
goes by ye name of William Gear< no role > als Old Gear
& this Informt: saith that he was ye person that
stood in ye door of ye sd. Meeting & Stopt her whilst
her pockett was pickt & further Saith that she
Verily beleives that one Charles Conklyn< no role > This name instance is in set 2853.
(this day apprehended upon Suspicon of ye sd. offence)
is another of ye persons who Assistred in doing
ye sd: fast and more Saith not

upon Oath the day and year abovesaid

Who Saith that Yesterday being Sunday ye 29th. day
of this Instant September he was at Mr Brags
meeting house aforesd. & while he was there obeyed
ye person menconed in of above said Informacon (who
goes by ye name of William Gear< no role > als old Gear &
Standing in ye door of ye said Meeting house and
soon after heard a disturbance without ye door
upon wch. ye above named Mrs Emm Gives< no role > came into
the sd. Meeting house & discovered to this Informant
yt: her pocket was just then picket at ye door coming
in & more Saith not
