was dispatched them followed him to the Bank where I saw him receive the Money aforesd
I was diligent to take Notice if any Scruple was made, and not observing any, nor th [..]
he was Dogg'd I followed him thence, and got before him to the Fountain Tavern
aforesaid, & acquainted Mr Bigge with the Success, but left him to attend the return of
the Porter by himself.

The same day I met Mr Bigge at the Gill Alehouse in Ivy Lane, and there reced
some Moneys of him on Acct: of another Note which he had taken out a few Days
upon of £112 or £115 part whereof I had advanced put of Mr. Johnson's Cash Off
which Note he afterwards had an Endorsemt. of £100 which Endorsemt. he told me was
wrote with such Ink yt he could not get it out, but the more he endeavoured it, the
brynter & p [..] ner it appeared

Here the Project ended and baside what I have before receted I knew of no attem [..]
ma [..] by him of the like Nature; nor do I know of any other Person or Persons privy to
the aforesaid facher neither do I believe yr: any of the aforesaid Notes were ever in the
hands of any other Person or Persons, than as before Mentioned.- I never saw the
said Mr Bigge take off any of the aforementioned Endorsemts. neither do I know by what
Methods he effected it.

As to the Dates of Time any where herein before expressed tis as near as my Memory
will serve me to Mention, but not having taken any special Notice thereof, I do not
pretend to be axact.

I had forget to incert yt: much about the Time (herein before mentioned) when he
shewed me the £100 Note with an Endorsemt: of £90, upon it, and the Note of £90,
arising therefrom both together; the better to convince me yt: he could effect what he
proposed he took a peice of Paper [..]
being in his Chamber together, he [..] about the [..]
Minute, and then returned with the Paper in his hand, and on One or Two of th [..]
just at One Corner of the writing there was about the Quanity of a large Rain drop
of some Liquid, which having caused me to observe for some time, I could perceive yt
the red Letters cover'd therewith grew by Degrees more pallid, and, in about Two minute
space, became almost Invisible.
