Joseph: Herbert< no role > maketh oath that on Sunday
the 31st. of October 1714. that their was stollen
from out the shop of his master John Smidly a frock three
shirts, a pair of Sheets and three stockins
and a wascoat and that the person or persons
who stole the same, came in at a window
and afterwards came out of the House by
opening the street door and that he
suspect John Fowle< no role > , [..] charles, Gammon< no role >
and Mathew Smith< no role > , were the persons who
did the same, and the rather because the
said John Fowle< no role > has confesed the same

Jurat 1 o. die Novembris 1714 o,

John Fowle< no role > being duely Examined, confesseth
that the House of John Smedly< no role > , was entred
as abovesaid by Mathew Smith< no role > & this Examinant and that the goods for Stollen
were stollen by [..] Mathew
Smith
< no role > This Examinant and further saith [..] that ye abovesd.
Goods wer sold to Jno. Brock< no role > in the Mint and the money
divided amongst them
