The Informacon of Elizabeth Baker< no role > of the parish of
Walthamstow in the County of Essex Singlewoman
when on oath the 20 day of Octobr. ano din 1713 before
Sr Thomas Abney< no role > Knt . and Alderm

This Informt. Saith and deposeth on her Coporall oath that
In May last she comeing to order & being destitute of or
Lodgeing as she was enquireing in the street after a place
where she might bodge a Gentleman told her of she would goe
with him he would shew her a good lodgeing Accordingly this
Informt. went with him unto the Katharine wheel Inn withot.
Bishopsgate kept by one Mr. Miller Where they went in
together about 10. Clock at night they had some liquor
wth it was this Informt. doth not know but she beleives these
was some thing extraordinary put in it for she drank but one
Glass wch. disordered her the said Miller brought the said
Liquor into the room and stayed wth. them and while he was
wth. them Mr. Miller Said Sr you are me some thing since you
was last here, afterwards the Gentleman went out of the
room and Miller stayed wth. this Informt. and told her
She must by with that Gentleman ; she excuseing herself
said she did not know him and desired Miller to tell her who
he was & who replyed he would not inform her but she must tye
with him and if he did her any harm he the sd. Miller would
be bound to take care of her; and from after the maid conducted
her upstairs into the Room where she sd. Gentleman was; the
said man put out the Candle and locked the Door; and then the
said Gentleman pulled her about the room & was very Rude to her
that afterwards they went to bed together and he had carnall
knowledge of her body severall lines by whome she did conceive
wth. child or children of wch. she is now pregnant and also made
oath, that noe other person since hath had the carnall knowledge
of her body: and also that in the morning Miller came and
called the Gentleman up who went out prsently; and this
Informt. also got up out of bed and knocked at the door a
great while but the door was locked and the maid would not
open it untill an home after and when she came down Miller
& the Gentleman was gone out but she maid nor any of the
house would tell her this Informt. who the Gentleman was
