This Indenture Tripartite made the Ninth day of Augustin the year of our Lord God 1710
& in the Ninth year of the reigne of our Sovereign Lady Ann by the Grace of God of Great Britaine France & Ireland Queen
Defender of the Faith Etc Between John Barber< no role > the younger son of John Barber< no role > the elder Citizen & Vintner of London of the
first part John Turner< no role > stationer in the Inner Temple of the second part & the said John Barber< no role > the elder of the third
part Witnesseth That the said John Barber< no role > the younger (by the consent & approbation of his said Farther restified
by him being made a party unto & Signing & Sealing these prsents) Hath put himselfe apprentice unto the said John Turner< no role >
to learn his art of a stationer & with him after the manner of an Apprentice to serve from the First day of May last
part unto the full end & Term of seven years from thence next ensueing & fully to be compleat & ended During [..] Terme the said
Apprentice his said Master faithfully shall and will serve his secrets keep his lawfull Commandments every where gladly do he
shall do no damage to his said master nor see to be done others, but to his power shall lett, or forthwith give notice to his said Master
of the same, the goods of his said Master he shall not wast nor lend them unlawfully to any, hurt to his said Master he shall not
do, cause or procure to be Done, he shall neither buy nor sell without his Masters leave, Taverns Inns or Alehouses he shall
not havnt; at Cards, Dice, lables, or any other unlawfull Game he shall not play Fornication he shall not committ
Martimoney he shall not contract, Nor from the service of his said Master day nor night shall absent himselfe, but
in all things as an honest & faithfull Apprentice shall and will demeane & behave himselfe towards his said Master &
all his during all the said Term And in consideration of tenn pounds Sterling paid him with his said Apprentice the said Master his said Apprentice in the Art & Mystery of a stationer wich
he now upon shall teach and instruct or cause to be caught & instructed the best way and manner that he can finding
& allowing unto his said Apprentice Sufficient meat, drink, washing, Lodgeing & all other necessaries (wearing Appa-
rells) only excepted) during the last five years an tenn Months of the said term of seven years And the said John Barber< no role >
the Father unto his said son shall find and allow sufficient & necessary wearing Apparell for & during all the
said Term of seven years & also sufficient meat, drink, Washing, Lodging & all other necessares during the first year
and two Months of the said Term And for the true performances of all & every the lovenants & Agreements
aforesaid each of the said parties bindeth himselfe unto the other of them severally & respectively firmly by this presents
In Witnesse wherof the said parties to these presents have herunto interchargeabley sett their hands and
seales the day and year first above written

Sealed & delivered in the prsence of the words
(in Consideracon of Tenn Pounds Sterling paid him with his
said Apprentice) first interlined betwixt the Fifteenth and
Sixteenth lines.
