The humble Petition and Appeale of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Mary Woolnoth
London
Sheweth
That by Virtue of a Warrant under the hands and seals of two of her Maties
Justices of the peace
within this City (one being of the Quorm) bearing Date
the Fourth day of January instant one

was removed
from the parish of St Giles without Cripplegate
London unto the said
parish of St Mary Woolnoth
alleadging the said parish to be the place of the
last legall settlement of the said

That your Petitioners doubt not but to prove that the said
Mary Harman< no role >
never had any legall settlement in the said
Parish of St. Mary Woolnoth
whereby they conceive themselves'
aggreived by the said Warrant and Judgment of the said two
Justiceswhereby theyand do humbly Appeal there from
Your Petitioners therefore most humbly pray
your Honr and Worpps will be pleased to hear them
in the prmisses and that the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of St.
Giles without Cripplegate
may appeare before you
and hear and abide the determination of your Honr
and Worpp therefrom
And your Petitioner Shall ever Pray
