William Thornton< no role > Mariner being brought before
me by virtue of a Warrant this Ninth day of October
1712 doth confesse that he hath forged several Letters
of Attorney, and especialy one dated the 2d. day of
October 1712, impowering Mary Brigg< no role > of Wapping
to demand and receive all Sums of Money as was
or should become due to Tho: Godwine< no role > James Williams< no role >
and Elive Carne< no role > Captains Servants on board the
Salisbury, and to other persons unknown in the said
severall Letters of Attorney mentioned and further
saith that the said Mary Brigg< no role > hath lately known
that the said Letter was forged
