Sd. Browne any of the sd Silke he the sd Browne
acquainted them that he would at any time
take from them any other Silke which they
would bring them And this Examinant further
confesseth That one Mr Jacobs, Mother to the
abovenamed Jacobs ye Jew, was present at such
times as the sd Hackett & this Examinant sold
any of the sd Silk to her sd Son And she the sd
Mrs Jacobs at one time bought of the said
Hackett & this Examinant one parcell of the
sd. Silke when her sd Son was absent and she then
payd Seven Shillings P pound for ye same And
the sd Joseph Hackett< no role > & this Examinant about two
months since tooke out of another Wharehouse
in the Steel Yard four bags of the Cocoa Nutts which
they sold to Mr Dawson on Dowgate hill for nine-
pence a pound selling him they had them from aboard
a Ship And this Examinant Saith that the said
Hackett and this Examinant bought Picklock keys
wherewith the sd Hackett open'd the Locks of the
sd. Wharehouses out of which they took the said
Silk & Cocoa Nutts, and Hackett usually fetcherd
the sd Silk & Nutts downe the Stairs of the sd Wharehouses
while this Examinant watched at the doors and
they both carryed the same away And this Examint.
hath reason to beleive that the said Brown
and the sd Jacobs the Jew and alsoe the said
