The Order of Sr. Robert Beachcroft< no role > Knt . Lord Mayr : of the Citty of London and
Sr : Charles Peeres< no role > Knt : and Alderman of the sd City being Two of her Maties:
Justices of the Peace for ye same City one whereof is of the Quorum and both resideing
next to the time to where the Parish Church of St: Botolphs without Aldersgate within the
libtty: of the sd: City standeth made at the request and complaint of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poore of the said Parish the fifteenth day of Feby in ye Eleventh
yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lady Anns by the Great of God of Great Brittaine
France and Ireland Queen Defendr: of the Faith Etc and in the yeare of our Lord God one
Thousand Seven Hundred and Twelve according to the form of the statute in that Case
made and prvded concerning a Male Bastard Child born in the sd: Parish on the
Ninetenth day of June last past of the body of Elizabeth Tompson< no role > widdow which
said Bastard Child is now chargeable to ye said Parish and is likely soe to continue.

Upon the Examinacon of the Cause and circumstances of the prmisses taken upon Oath before us the
saith Justices and pticulerly on the Oath of the said Elizabeth Tompson< no role > and due Consideracon there of
being by us had It apperes to us that the said Male Bastard Child was born in ye said Parish and is become
chargeable to the same and that one Henry Oaking< no role > liveing neare Gaines brough in Lincolnshire Morciner
did beget the said Male Bastard Child wherefore we doe adjudge him the said Henry Oakling< no role > to be
the putative Father of the said Male Bastard Child and for the releife of the said Parish of St:
Botolph without Aldersgate for Whatsley have already expended and to Indempnifie them from
the further Charge of the sd Child wee the said Justices do hereby Order the said Henry Oakling< no role >
forthwith upon notice of this our Ordr. to pay or cause to be paid unto ye sd: Church Wardens an Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of St: Botolph without Aldersgate or to some of them the Sume of
foure poundsof lawfull money of Great Britaine which appears to us to [..]
been expended by them in and about the Lying Inn of the said Elizabeth Tompson< no role > with the said
Bastard Child and maintaining the said Bastard Child and other incident charges and alsoe that he the
said Henry Oakling< no role > doe and shall on Saturday in every week weekley from henceforth soe long
as the said Bastard Child shall be chargeable to the sd Parish of St: Botolph without Aldersgate
pay or cause to be paid unto the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the sd Parish for the
time being or to som or one of tem the sume of two shillings and Six Pence of like lawfull money
for and towards the maintenance of the said Bastard Child: In Witness whereof we the said
Justices have hereunto sett our Hands the day and year first above written.
