The Informacon of Jane Powell< no role > of St. Dunstans in the
West in the said City Milliner taken upon Oath this
25th. day of October 1709 .

This Informt. depoesth That Jane Pops< no role > and another woman came together
this Evening into this Informts: Shop, Prtending to buy some Ferrett
ribbon and having bargained for a yard and half of the said Ferrett
this Informt. turned abt: to change the money And imediately after
missing two peices of Ferrett ribbon asked the said Pope and the
said other Woman for the same but they both denyed that they had
medled wth. or tench any And this Informt. deposeth that which she was
looking under the Compter for the said goods one peice of the ribbon
was sett on the table, and that [..] the said other woman the prtended
to goe out of the Shop to got change, but did not returne, And this
Informt. chargeth the said Jane Pope< no role > and the said other woman on
Suspicion of Stealling the said goods
