John Edwards< no role > of London Silkman maketh Oath that after
the twenty fifth day of aprill one thousand seven hundred
& Seven & in or about the Month of October last past the said
John Sleorgin< no role > became a Bankrupt, & that afterwards a Commn.
of Bankrupcy was Sued fort & putt in execucon agt him
the said John Sleorgin< no role > and the Deponent further Saith
that ye said John Sleorgin< no role > did confess that after such time
as he became a Bankrupt as aforesaid he Endeavoured to
as beyond the seas with mony goods & Effects to much along
the value of twenty pounds Vizt. a Bill drawn by Sr. Henry [..] for ye value of abt one hundred fifty pounds & mony [..] thirty pounds and the Deponent further
Saith that the said Sleorgin did also own & declare that
he had proceeded severall Leagues att Sea before he
was apprehended & brought back to England and this
Depont further Saith that he verily beleives the said Sleorgin
did feloniously remove & carry away the said Effects, And
Endeavour to conceal & convey the same beyond the seas
with intent to defraud his Creditors thereof
