of Her Maties. Justices of the Peace In the Generall Quarter
Sessions of the Peace Assembled

The Peticon & Appeale of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poore of the Parish of Christchurch London

Sheweth


That one William Jenkins< no role > Anne< no role > his wife & Anne< no role > & Henry< no role > their Sonne
& Daughter of virtue of a Warrant Dated 19th. June 1707. under the
hands & Seales of twoe of Her Maties. Justices of the Peace within the
City of London (one being of the Quor) was brought by the Churchwardens
of the Parish of St Bartholomew the lesse to yor. Petr. to be provided
for on the Oath of the said William Jenkins< no role > That hee had lived in the
Parish of Christchurch with Mr. Greene a Surgeon for the Space of
Twoe yeares and upwards as a hired Servt att £7. P Annu Wages
Whereas in Truth the said William Jenkins< no role > hath been a Marryed man
above 25. yeares past & dwelt in the Pish of St. Bartholomew the
lesse long before his Comeing into the Service of Mr. Greene And that
his wife and Family have constantly dwelt in the said Parish of
St Bartholomew the lesse for 25. yeares past where hee hath alsoe
Resided Excepting his twoe yeares Service with Mr. Greene as
aforesaid

Yor. Petrs. humbly pray That their Appeale may be heard
And that the Said William Jenkins< no role > with his wife and
Children may be Sent back to the said Parish of St.
Bartholomew the lesse To be there provided for by
them being there setled according to the Lawe

And They shall Pray Etc
