The Informacon of Mary White< no role > taken upon Oath who saith that last night halfe
an houre after Foure Mr. Richard Spurlin< no role > came up the Comon Side to lock up
ye. Prisoners Mr. John Easton< no role > wanted something to be brought to him he would have
rung the Bell and that Hather Sell & Marsh two of the Partners would have hindred
him & fell upon him & beat him with Sticks, Upon which Mr. Burrooughs. Mr. Carter and
Mr. White bolted themselves in their owne Roome and rung the Bell double to call up the
Turnkey to secure them that they might not be killed. Hathersell, Marsh, Edwards, Capt.
Talbutt, Brotherton, Spurlin Hill & Mrs. Mallard with Foure Sticks in her hands
crying Burroughs that Rogue kill him knock him downe upon which they endeavoured
to break upon the doore then Burroughs and Carter told them they would lett them in it
they would not murder them. Burroughs said Spurling if it be you. I will let you
in provided you will take Care Wee shall not be Murdered then said Spurling open
the doore upon which the doore was opened and Spurling Etc aforenamed rushed in
and Marsh struck Carter and broke his Head Talbutt struck and knockt him downe
Brotherton struck Burroughs upon the Head with a Broome Stick. Hathersell and
Hill Haled him downe Staires & put him into ye. Partners Roome Hill sell upon
Eston and threw him against the Cistome and knockt him over the head with a Care
and turned him in Headlong into the Partners Roome Capt. Talbbut said he longed
for this Opportunity to be revenged upon them See said Brotherton.

The said Mary White< no role > further saith that Brotherton and Spurling offerred to strike her
Husband but upon the Entreaty they for bore strikeing of him but Haled him into the
Partners Roome

And shee further saith Mrs. Mallard declared that Mr Fell sent her up with Foure Sticks to
help to knock them downe. And Capt. Talbut said that Mr. Fell would spend Foure
Hundred Pounds on his Side to beare them out us what they had done.
