Complaint being this day made unto us two of Her Maties.
Justices of the peace for this Citie and the Libties thereof
(Quor unus) by you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poore of the parish of St. Michael in Crooked Lane London
That one Sarah Ashburnham< no role > Widow with five children is lately
come into your said parish without due notice given endeavouring
to make a settlement therein and will be likely to be chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented And whereas it appeares into
us by the oath of the said Sara That her last legall settlemt.
was in the parish of St. Clemt. Eastcheap London her late
husband being an House holder in the said parish at twenty
pounds P ann and upwards for above two yeares last past and
hath not since been in your parish of St. Michll. Crooked lane
London above the space of three weekes at farthest.

These areintherefore in Her Maties. name to require you to
remove and conveigs the said Sarah Ashburnham< no role > with her said
five children from and out of your said parish of St. Michll. in
Crooked Lane London to the said parish of St. Clemt.inEast [..]
London where we adjudge the last legall settlemt. of the said Sarah
Ashburnham
< no role > to be and her with her said children leave with
the Churchwardns. & Overseers of the poore of the same pish
same or one of their who are hereby required to receive and
pvide for them according to Law Hereof faile not And this shall
to you & every of you a sufficient Warrt. Given undr. our handed and
seales the 11d. day of January 1703 .
