the thirtieth day of October w [..] was in the year of our Lord
One thousand Seven and two He Ordered Henry Cheesman< no role >
Lighterman to Convey the forty wey of French Salt then in
his Custody which he had received by this Deponts Order
and said up in a warehouse at Baynards Castle on
board aship then lyeing in Lime house reach And this
Depont. Saith that the Duty of the said Salt Imposed
thereon by Act of Parliament made in the Ninth year
of the late bring William the third and all other Acts
of Parliamt. was paid or Secured to be paid to the Queen
Majty. by bond entred into for that purpose by this Depont.
and others which bond is Sume taken up and paid And
this Depont. Saith that the said forty wey of French Salt
belonged to him and Company and that lie and they
are Inhabitants of the City of London and Subjects of
this Realm of England
