Whereas Complaint hath beene made unto two
of his Maties Justices of the Peace for the sd City
(Quor unus) by the Church Wardens & Overseeres of
the poore of the Pish of St. Buttolph extra Bppsgate
Londo. That one Elizabeth Wright< no role > Single woman is came
into their said Pish endeavouring to settle there
contrary Lawe, and is become chargeable thereunto
And whereas it appeares unto us upon the oath of the said
Elizabeth Wright< no role > , that her last legall Settlemt. was in
the Pish of St. Buttolph Aldgate London where she was
a hired servt . by the yeare to one Mr. Turner a Butcher
at the Wages of Three pounds P Annm, abt. Five years
since, and that since she hath had nor other legall
settlemt. whatsoever.

These are therefore in his Maties name strictly to
Charge and Command you the Church wardens and
Overseeres of the poore of the said Pish of St. Buttolph extra Bppsgate some or one of
you upon sight hereof to remove and Convey the body of
the said Elizabeth Wright< no role > out of yor. said Pish unto the
said Pish of St. Buttolph Aldgate and her deliver unto
the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poore there
or to some or one of them, who are hereby required her
to receive and provide for (as occasion shall require) unto
they shall be of her legally discharged, and for soe doeing
this shall be yor. Warrant, Given undr. your hands
and Seales this First Day of May Ao. Dni 1699 .
