Whereas Mary Hutt< no role > wife of Thomas Hutt< no role > wth. one Child by virtue of a warrant under the hands
& Seales of twoe of his Maties Justices of the peace within this City (one being of the Quox) bearing
date the Eighteenth day of October last word Sent & delivered by this Churchwardens & overseers
of the poore of the parish of St. Dunstans in the west London unto the Churchwarden & overseers of
the poore of the parish of St. Michaell Bastieshowe London upon the oath of the Said Mary
Hutt That the last legall settlement of Thomas Hutt< no role > her husband was or A hired Servant
wth. Sr . Thomas Stanop< no role > of St. Michaell Bastieshawe sixe or Seaven yeares And Sums that
tyme shoe nor her Said husband have not had any legall settlement Al by the Same warrant
appeareth Now upon heaving the appeale of the Said Churchwardens & overseers of the poore
of the Said parish of St Michaell Bastieshawe against the Said warrant or endyement of
the Said twoe Justices in the prsence of the Churchwardens & overseers of the poore of the Said
parish of St. Dunstans in the west And haveing heard what could be alleadyed on either hee
by the respective Churchwardens and their Councell & witnesses in and [..] the prmisses
And itt appearing to this Comb That the lord Thomas Hutt< no role > was legally settled as [..] Corvant wth. Sr . Thomas Stampe< no role > in the Said pish of St Michaell Bastie [..] ye [..] paid But That the Service of the Said Thomas Hutt< no role > (after his
departme from the service of the Said Sr Thomas Strong < no role > out of his Service in the Said pish of St. Michaell
Bastieshawe with a Gentleman (unknowne) in the Said parish of St. Dunstans in the west
whoe was that or Lodger only for about 6 monethes attaboutsixe shillings A worke (afterhisthe departme
of the Said Thomas Hutt< no role > from theSaidService of the Sord Sr . Thomas Stamp< no role > In nor as aforesaidwas noe legall Settlement
of the Said Thomas Hutt< no role > in the Said parish of St. Dunstans in the West For that (the Gentlemen unknowne
his Master had [..] noe legall Settlement in the Said parish of St. Dunstansin the Said parish thereinItt is thereupon considered &
ordered by this Comb That the Said warrant [..] or indgment made by the Said twoe Justices be & is
here by confirmed And that the aforesaid Appeale be disallowed Anditt is further orderedThat
the Said Mary Hutt wth. her Said child be provided for & mainteyned by them by the Churchwardens & overseers of
the poore of the Said parish of Sr. Michaell Bastieshawe untill They can free themselfe
of the charge thereof by due course of Lawe
